Don’t drink from a straw after your procedure, as it can dislodge the blood clot and disrupt your healing. Eat only soft foods for several days to avoid painful chewing. Nourishing foods like soup, puréed vegetables, yogurt, mashed potatoes, rice, etc., will help your body heal quicker. Avoid smoking and alcoholic drinks during your recovery. Rest as much as possible for the first few days to give your body a chance to heal. Within a few days, you should be feeling better and be able to resume your normal activities.
